Steve Huff’s all electric dragster that set the world record as the first four wheeled electric vehicle to hit 200 MPH on the quarter mile will be making passes at Holley’s inaugural High Voltage Experience.  Steve set the record at Tucson Dragway in May of 2020 after he doubled the car’s power output over the previous winter as he made a 201.07 MPH pass with a 7.52 elapsed time.

Steve used Holley’s AEM Electronics to turn up the power on his dragster called “Current Technology”. Huff used AEM’s 8 Channel PDU-8 (Power Distribution Unit) and AEM’s VCU300 Vehicle Control Unit, as well as dash and key pad to set the record.

The dragster has two custom wound dual-core motors; four 700-amp controllers and an 800-volt lithium polymer battery delivering 2,400 horsepower and 2,000 lb-ft of torque.  See the Huff Motorsports dragster at Holley’s High Voltage Experience November 13th and 14th 2021 at Sonoma Raceway in Sonoma, CA.
