Holley’s High Voltage Experience Invades Tesla Takeover July 29-30, 2023
Join Holley in beautiful San Luis Obispo, California, this July 29-30th as they invade Tesla Takeover at the Fields of Madonna Inn! This year Holley High Voltage Experience (HHVE) is joining Tesla Takeover as the event’s official performance sponsor. For the first time ever, Holley will be offering a performance driving experience, high-performance EV product and conversion components display, and an EV swap vehicle showcase for Takeover attendees!
They invite their past HHVE participants to enjoy the weekend and look forward to meeting new BEV enthusiasts alike.
The first ever HHVE performance driving experience at Tesla Takeover takes place Saturday afternoon from 3:00 p.m.–8:00 p.m. Attendees will enjoy the performance of their EV via acceleration tests, drag racing, and slalom disciplines on Santa Margarita Ranch’s airport runway. This is a new, no-cost feature for Tesla Takeover participants, but slots are limited, so click here to sign-up while you can! This segment is about promoting fun behind the wheel and minimizing pressure. No prior track experience required! Holley’s Simpson Racing equipment brand will be onsite and will provide loaner helmets for those who need them. The fastest times in each segment will take home some great EV prizes from Holley’s Dinan brand.
While the event is mainly Tesla-focused, other BEVs, e.g., Rivian, Ford, Lucid, Porsche, or homebuilt/swapped EVs, are invited. If you’ve converted your ride to an EV powertrain, you can track it at Tesla Takeover! Holley will have special parking designated for custom EV creations like Bisi Ezerioha’s Moby Porsche 935, powered by a Tesla drivetrain, and more! Have questions about converting an ICE vehicle to an EV powertrain? Several AEM EV technical representatives and products will be on hand to guide you through the process.
Holley’s Dinan team will also be onsite to showcase their latest products for the Tesla Model 3, Y, and S. Their high-quality finish steering wheels, performance-enhancing suspension upgrades, and Hyper Kinetic wheel offerings will have you subconsciously “adding to the cart.” Make sure to stop by to see how they can assist you in achieving your aesthetic and performance goals for your Tesla, whether on the street or on track!
