Holley is pleased to announce that the Grind Hard Plumbing Co. Overland Tesla is confirmed for the inaugural Holley High Voltage Experience.

Those of us who were given Power Wheels as young children have all thought of it at one point or another: “How do I get some serious power out of this thing to make it slide through the neighborhood and impress the babysitter?”

Edwin Olding and Ethan Schlussler have actually made good on that question time and time again since they started Grind Hard Plumbing Co. Their YouTube channel is home to their mechanical automotive toy creations and you’ll easily lose track of time poring over all of their wild creations.

The scope of Edwin and Ethan’s projects hasn’t stopped at Power Wheels though. They’ve made Grind Hard improvements to a number of actual cars including an E36 BMW, VW Vanagan, Triumph Spitfire, and the Tesla Model 3 in the images before you. You can check out the build process here.

They are promoting their Model 3 as what very well could be the first overland equipped Tesla and it is quite a sight to behold.  It’s sporting a two-inch lift, all-terrain tires, front and rear tube frame bumpers, and a winch. Auxiliary lighting and other details abound, so don’t miss your opportunity to see it at Holley High Voltage November 13-14th at Sonoma Raceway! We’ll see you there!
